engaged! nina and nick

its always amazing to me when i think about how long i have known some people. like nina--we worked together over 10 years ago, at what was then the coolest bar in san diego, e st alley. i always thought nina was absolutely stunning, so when she asked me to do her engagement photos, i was thrilled. nina and nick met at sdsu, so we started out on campus, which by the way, is really awesome. next we headed to presidio park, which on a good day has great views of the bay, but on this day was just a great backdrop for nina and nick to sass it up. here are some of our faves from the shoot...

heather and randall, baby on the way

we love when we get the chance to do photos for a couple we know, especially when they are as much fun as heather and randall. heather and randall are expecting a little one in december, so we met them in la jolla to do some pre-baby belly pics, and heather looked as glam as ever. randall loves being funny with the camera, and it doesn't help that james encourages him, i guess marines have the same sense of humor. we started at la valencia hotel, because we knew that randall would love all the pink, and then headed down to the beach for some great wave splashing shots. here are some of our faves from the shoot, congrats heather and randall, we can't wait to meet the little one...

the willis family

many of you are familiar with our referral program, where we give you credits for each client you refer us. well danielle refers us so many clients, we wanted to say thanks, so we met her family out at santee lakes on saturday morning, to do some quick family photos. not only do we look forward to seeing danielle and jeff, but the kids are absolutely adorable, and super photogenic. and as a bonus, courtney (the oldest) just moved out to san diego, and she loves photography, and is an awesome model. here are some of our favorites from the day, thank you willis family for an amazing shoot...
