wedding: stephanie and thad part 2

following the ceremony, we took advantage of the gorgeous backdrop of the coronado harbor and had some fun with the wedding party...

and then it was time for a little romance with the bride and groom...

meaghan from weddings made splendid did a great job on all the decor and we love that stephanie and thad borrowed an idea we used at our wedding, candy jars, and they did it one step better, with cute little messages on the ribbons...

the toasts were touching, there was an adorable video of stephanie and thad and then the party got started...

the highlight of the evening was the "shot-ski" a converted ski stephanie used to use to actually ski on, now used for couples shots, super fun

thad planned a super creative and funny garter surprise...


thad and stephanie, we wish you years of happiness and look forward to hanging out with you both again soon!

wedding: stephanie and thad part 1

the setting and the day were absolutely perfect for stephanie and thad's wedding, which took place a couple weeks ago at the gorgeous coronado community center. stephanie got ready at the very posh loews coronado resort, and i spent some time with her while she got her hair and makeup done by the fabulous gina mertz from glamorous brides.


as the wedding day approached, james and i were super excited since we had such a great time with them on their engagement shoot, and stephanie's sister michelle was the florist for our wedding (and she did an AMAZING job) and we loved working with her.

we listened to those guys formerly known as new kids on the block, now known just as "the block" while stephanie prepped and we snapped a few quick pictures while michelle hurriedly got ready (she was the florist AND the maid of honor, crazy!)

the ceremony was super emotional, thad was so happy to see stephanie that he had tears in his eyes, which of course brought tears to just about everyone else's eyes...
