take a cute kid, add a park and some cool toys, and you would expect to get tons of laughing and smiles. not so when it comes to sydney, my best friend deanne's little girl. despite all my tricks, including bribery and bringing james along to make funny noises, sydney just won't have it. but she is smart, she knows what we want, and she likes to make us wait. look at these poses...

we bought her a kids camera for her birthday, and it makes me a little bit happier when i see sydney with it, perhaps she is a future jasmine star...

and some fun on the swings and slide, love her crazy hair!

i love that it looks like she is running 90 miles an hour here...

sydney, you know you are my favorite little one to get pictures of, and i know you would make a great gap baby, so please, please, please, give us just a few more smiles!

welcome baby stella!

a few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of meeting baby stella, and although she was all about NOT having her picture taken, we managed to trick her just long enough to get some really cute shots. here are a few of our faves, congrats adam and jen!!! oh, and the adorable baby hat is from cotton blossoms, put in code daniphoto to receive 20% off your order.

heidi and brian part 3

with all the romance and sweetness, who would have guessed that these two were dancing machines? from the moment they walked into the reception, heidi and brian didn't stop moving, well ok, maybe to eat dinner, but not for long. and the guests got into the party as well, providing us with plenty of photo opps. the reception featured an amazing video from aqua vivus productions, check it and them out here.

heidi and brian, part 2

this might be the first time i decide to blog a wedding in three parts. blame it on heidi and brian for being so much fun and making it too difficult to pick just a few pictures to share.



after the first look, we spent some time with heidi and brian just goofing off, which is what makes these pictures so much fun

these were taken after the ceremony, and were perhaps my favorites of the day. i love the warm light, i love how brian knew how to pose heidi without me asking and i love that it looks like we are in europe...



as if heidi and brian weren't fabulous enough, their wedding party was HOT, HOT, HOT, as you can tell by the sheer number of photos we took of them...






we can't forget the bridesmaids bouquet...


and now for the ceremony, which was touching and sweet, and also made us laugh (heidi too!)...
