wedding: walter and angelina | san diego wedding photographer

we couldn't have asked for a nicer summer day for walter and angelina's wedding, which was held at admiral baker golf course. and we had been looking forward to this wedding since james and walter, long lost marine corp buddies, found each other on facebook last year.

we had some fun with the girls getting ready and then it was time for the first look, which was absolutely perfect. first, a few details...

i love these ring shots that james got...

the beautiful bride, just radiant...

look at this service, even the flowergirl was in on the action...

we found a shaded spot on the first tee box for their first look, and i love how happy they were to see each other...

absolutely adorable...and marines say they're tough...

the wedding party and swordsmen...

after some quick photos it was time for the ceremony, and who doesn't love to see a full sword detail at a wedding?

brides (and grooms), if you are debating whether or not to do a first look because you are worried that it might ruin the moment when you come down the aisle, all you have to do is look at angelina's face to know the answer...

friends and family, the rest of the images are online, just click here to view all of them. and check back soon for another blog post with more bride and groom pics as well as the reception fun!

ironside family | san diego portrait photographer

my favorite cousin dana was visiting some friends in san diego and wanted to get a jumpstart on holiday photos, so we headed down to windansea beach for some san diego summer gray photos. thankfully the kids are adorable so it didn't matter that the sun wasn't out. here are my faves from the shoot...

sorry we couldn't make the sun come out for your trip out here, but glad we could see you all again!!! looking forward to seeing you in vegas :)
