wedding in new york: ahmad and rebeccah

we had a very cool opportunity last fall to go to new york to photograph a wedding for our friends ahmad and rebeccah, and we were so excited, like kids in a candy store. the wedding was going to be in a small church near central park, so we were going to get to do wedding photos in central park, could it get any better? oh, and it was autumn...in new york!!!

the night before the wedding, we had the honor of photographing the rehearsal dinner at del posto, this incredibly delicious (and 4-star rated) italian restaurant in the meatpacking district.


to top it off, the bride wore this fabulous, very chic, very new york wedding dress that just looked perfect. here are our favorites from the day...

engaged! heidi and tyler | san diego wedding photographer

can i just say wow?! heidi and tyler are not only a gorgeous couple, but they are fun and were up for anything for their engagement session. since tyler is a football coach at a local school, we wanted to throw in some football fun into the session. we started out at ferry landing in coronado before we headed down to their hometown of imperial beach. IB is so under-rated, it has a cool funkiness that is perfect for heidi and tyler. here are our faves from the session...

engaged! mike and erin | san diego wedding photographer

we were psyched when we met erin and mike last year for many reasons, but the first one that stood out was they like to have fun. instead of our normal meetings at starbucks, we headed down to the field, a cool irish pub downtown. over loud irish music we talked about their fantastic wedding and about all the fun we would have come june.

for their engagement session, we met down in la jolla village, and then headed down to the water for some classically beautiful beachy / sunset pictures. here are our faves from the session, we are so looking forward to the wedding!




next it was down to the beach, and when does the guy ever get to be in the spotlight?
