welcome baby brody

i can't begin to explain how happy we get when our past clients call us for pictures, and with heather and randall, we feel like we have known them for years ( i think we have) and were so excited to do their newborn pics of baby brody. unfortunately, brody was feeling a bit under the weather, but we did manage to get a few good ones of him and daddy before randall had to head off to afghanistan. randall, be safe, we can't wait to see you in a few months!!! here are some of our faves from the shoot, congrats heather and randall, we'll see you soon.

depaulo family

we met the depaulo family one morning at balboa park (i think you can tell we LOVE this place) and spent some time playing with the kiddos and having fun. there is nothing better than a couple of cute kids who love the camera, it makes our job so easy. paulina was absolutely the most perfect little model and she loved to pose and sebastian was more curious than anything, but we managed to get a couple smiles out of him too. here are some of our faves...

after a brief hiatus from posting, i decided to finish off the year with a bang, with some more amazing family shoots from the holidays. whenever i hear from erin to take pictures, i am psyched, i love hanging with her and michael, and their son landon is so adorable it's hard to take a bad picture. we met at balboa park for some fun holiday photos, here are some of my faves...

on our way up to la for thanksgiving, we stopped in manhattan beach, at polliwog park to meet my friend sonia and her little darlings for some fun christmas pics. i forgot how much kids like to run, and i must have looked like a maniac chasing julia around, but i figure, whatever it takes to make them smile. she totally knows how to ham it up for the camera, and loves to get a reaction from people, while her brother is so calm and content, happy to just hang out. here are a few of my favorites...
