now for the fun stuff, this was definitely, without a doubt, one of the best parties we have been to. was it the ultimate skybox? or the fabulous coordination by the folks at creative affairs by amanda? or maybe it was the smirnoff ice? we're not sure, but all we know is we had a great time, and so did all the guests.

and then it was time for the first dance, perfect...

and the beautiful toasts--we don't usually post so many toast pictures, but the background, expressions and emotion were so perfect...

then it was time for the bouquet, and boy did shannon have a surprise for jud. we are used to seeing the guys pull out some tricks, but shannon topped them all. for those of you unfamiliar with being "iced", see the official definition here

jud arranged for fireworks to celebrate the day :)

congratulations shannon and jud, what a fabulous wedding, we were honored to be part of it. and of course loved that even james got iced!

just when you thought it couldn't get any better, it does. here are some more of our faves with the wedding party, who just loved to ham it up for the pictures on the rooftop of the gaslamp marriott...



after the emotional first look, it was time for the ceremony, which was on the rooftop patio of the ultimate skybox.




after the ceremony, we headed back out to the gaslamp district for a few more pictures of the newly married couple...

there are some weddings you just know are going to be fabulous, and this was one of them. when we met shannon and jud for their super-fun engagement session, we couldn't wait for the wedding, which was held at the ultimate skybox in downtown san diego. and as if we didn't have enough to be excited about, the padres had a home game, so the stadium was packed.

shannon and the girls got ready at the lab salon in north park where nikki transformed shannon into an absolutely gorgeous bride.

both shannon and jud gave each other gifts before the wedding, and they were amazing and super sweet...


shannon and jud opted to do a first look, which we of course always love, and it was so emotional and passionate...



we got to take our portraits on the helipad on the rooftop of the gaslamp marriott, and while we don't normally post family photos, this was so cute
