i don't think kim and brian had any idea what i had in store for them when they met us at 8 am in balboa park. they were headed to the zoo and had the kids all dressed up in cute little outfits. i quickly found out that small kids, bubbles, chalk and lollipops make for quite a colorful combination. but i absolutely loved the photos, here are my faves:

as many of you know, my good friend ann is opening up a toy store in chicago, and she asked me to do some photos for the store, yippee!!! so i gathered up a bunch of props, and recruited some volunteers and headed out to the park. here are the willis kids, can you believe i was short on lollipops? it made for a cute picture after the initial fighting :)

now for the fun stuff, this was definitely, without a doubt, one of the best parties we have been to. was it the ultimate skybox? or the fabulous coordination by the folks at creative affairs by amanda? or maybe it was the smirnoff ice? we're not sure, but all we know is we had a great time, and so did all the guests.

and the beautiful toasts--we don't usually post so many toast pictures, but the background, expressions and emotion were so perfect...

then it was time for the bouquet, and boy did shannon have a surprise for jud. we are used to seeing the guys pull out some tricks, but shannon topped them all. for those of you unfamiliar with being "iced", see the official definition here

and now for the crazy dancing and party...

jud arranged for fireworks to celebrate the day :)

congratulations shannon and jud, what a fabulous wedding, we were honored to be part of it. and of course loved that even james got iced!

just when you thought it couldn't get any better, it does. here are some more of our faves with the wedding party, who just loved to ham it up for the pictures on the rooftop of the gaslamp marriott...



after the emotional first look, it was time for the ceremony, which was on the rooftop patio of the ultimate skybox.
