after the ceremony we spent a few minutes with shelby and mike before the reception...


shelby and mike got the party started early, with a stellar entrance...

the decor at ponte was right up my alley--pink, brown and beautiful flowers...


the dances were sweet and fun...



and the toasts were funny and touching...



mike's parents gave the bride and groom a little gift...



the cake cutting was pretty clean and the dancing was a blast to watch...


shelby and mike, we are so happy we could be part of your wedding day and we wish you tons of happiness as husband and wife!

after the first look we spent some time playing hide and seek with the sun to try and get some dramatic but not too bright photos in the vineyard.









next we had some fun with the wedding party, though it was too wet and muddy to do any jumping



the absolutely fabulous bridesmaids...

shelby and mike got married in the intimate barrel room, which was warm and beautiful...



i loved how everyone was wishing them well, it was so touching...

it was a seasonably cool february day at the ponte winery in temecula, and we were hoping that it wouldn't rain on shelby and mike's wedding day. we were super excited to see shelby and mike again, since they looked so amazing for their engagement photos. when i first walked in to shelby's room, i knew it was going to be a great day. not only did she already look gorgeous, but her bridesmaids were the most fun (not to mention gorgeous themselves). friends and family, to be notified when all the images are online, please click here

we love when a bride and groom opt for a first look, it gives us so much more time to get some great pictures, and takes away some of the nerves...
