this could quite possibly be the cutest family in america (now i know i am going to get a lot of flack for saying that from the rest of my friends who i say are the cutest, but really, aren't they adorable?) not only are the kids adorable, but they have the sweetest personalities and are so much fun to photograph, plus they love the camera (well, at least most of the time). we went out early one morning to la jolla cove to try and beat the bright sun, but it was already out, shining bright. it didn't matter, the family looked amazing, and we had a great time running around the sand and rocks. here are a few of my faves...

the newest addition...

not to our family, of course. i know most of you probably went crazy when you read that headline, but one thing at a time, let us get married first, and then we may get a new plant.

one of my best friends recently moved to charlotte, and on our latest trip east, james and i spent some time with her family. they just had a new baby, well 6 months ago, but its still new to us. zachary is one of those rare babies that smiles a lot, but he also has some very funny faces, which we were lucky enough to capture. here's a few of our favorite pictures of zachary...




and of course, we couldn't forget matthew, my favorite little 2 year old, who has quite possibly the bluest eyes we have ever seen...

the fosters

last month, james and i took a little trip out east. and after our friends' wedding, we headed down to charlotte, nc. we spent the last day of our trip with our friends and their new son, taking pictures, having bbq, and drinking wine. it was a great end to our week-long adventure, here are some of our favorite pictures from the day...

Happy 1st Birthday

Its been an amazing year following my friend Deanne's little girl Sydney grow up. James and I took pictures of Sydney every month for the last year, and last month we celebrated her 1st birthday, which was so much fun. The Willis Family

Its strange to meet someone with the same name, I am always wondering what other Danielles are like. So it was great to meet Danielle and Jeff and their family, and do some fun pictures in Balboa Park. Danielle is one of the cutest pregnant moms I have ever seen, she was so energetic and game for anything, I was tired just watching her. We did a few family pics, some of just Danielle and Jeff and some of just the soon-to-be new addition to their family.
