wedding: nicole and neil, part 1

so as not to overwhelm you with all the fabulousness of these images, we'll split the post into two sections. nicole and neil got married in the gorgeous wayfarer's chapel in rancho palos verdes, but before we show you all that goodness, we want to share some of the gorgeous details and getting ready pictures.

nicole's dress was simple and beautiful, and she chose a palette of tropical-inspired yellows

neil and his groomsmen looked dapper in their matching tuxedos and matching vans, super cool

nicole was a little nervous getting dressed right in front of the open window, but a few reassuring words from her fabulous bridesmaids and she was all smiles

how amazing does she look here???

next it was out to the lobby, which looked like it was made to match nicole's wedding...

the boys walked around the neighborhood for some cool photos...

and the girls sassed it up on the beach...

and now for a little preview of the next post...

wedding: dil and alex

it was a great end to a great year of fun and fabulous weddings. we headed up to la a couple weeks ago to be part of dil and alex's wedding, which was a great mix of sri lankan and greek cultures. when i first met dil, i knew she would be easy to photograph because she has an amazing smile and loves to laugh. and when james and i did their engagement photos a couple weeks earlier, we couldn't wait for the wedding because both dil and alex loved to have fun. ***friends and family, to be notified when the rest of the pictures are online, please sign the guestbook here

here are a few of our favorite engagement shots and some of the highlights of the wedding:

wedding...

i love this one of dil...

dil wore a veil that had been in the family for hundreds of years, it was really amazing...

look at this cute little guy, he was hammin' it up all night...

dil's smile and laugh were contagious...

look at the girls fighting for this bouquet...

one of dil's relatives gave a really funny toast...

and a final kiss to end the night...what a cute cake topper, hopefully not indicative of their marriage :)

dil and alex, congratulations on a wonderful wedding and best wishes for a long and happy marriage!
