i read an article recently in one of my thousands of mags about how to know whether a girl is the one. one of the guys interviewed said, "if she drinks whiskey, she is a keeper." so it was not surprising when we met heidi and brian for their engagement session to see heidi order a jack and coke (in comparison to my raspberry-flavored margarita)--in addition to heidi's amazing good looks and amazing heart, we knew why brian was smitten.we met heidi and brian through a referral from our own fabulous photographers, the youngrens, and we couldn't be happier to have them as our clients. after a couple drinks at jose's courtroom in la jolla, we walked around the village for a few urban-y shots...
brian does this neat trick, with this sort of strength, he might consider being a gymnast...
next it was on to la valencia hotel, where we shot a few super steamy photos before stopping for a quick soda at powell's sweet shoppe. check out heidi's amazing eyes!
after one more stop and a quick outfit change, it was down to the beach, for some fun bike riding and some gorgeous sunset pics...
the light was so perfectly awesome, i love how they are just glowing...
heidi and brian, we are looking forward to the wedding this fall, and had a great time with you at the engagement session!
