wedding: ashley and jr: part 2 | san diego wedding photographer

welcome back to the wonderful wedding of ashley and jr, who were married at the gorgeous immaculata chapel at usd in san diego.  i like this version of the chapel, which is usually seen in all its blue and cream glory...

jr doesn't look anxious at all, just excited to see his new bride...

  i love when brides are so visibly happy to be getting married...

after the ceremony it was time for a lightning round of photos, as we were racing against daylight...

first up, the wedding party, rockin it...

 and then the fabulous bride and groom...

maybe one of my favorite dip pictures ever, looks so perfectly natural

 

and then another one, because you can never have too many dips with such a gorgeous dress...

 

just a nice portrait...

we left the immaculata and headed over to the rancho santa fe country club, but by the time we got there, the sun was down so there was only time for one final dip photo...

after a fantastic grand entrance, ashley and jr were toasted by friends and family...

 

next it was time for the first dance and the father-daughter and mother-son dances...

this is probably one of my most favorite dancing pictures, love how happy jr is here

and then it was time for my favorite part of the night, the cake!!!

after the extremely competitive bouquet toss, the party really got going.  its been a while since i've seen dancing like this, check it out...

ashley and jr, thank you for inviting us into your lives and for allowing us to be part of your special day.  we wish you all the happiness in the world and look forward to family pictures soon :)
